Triesten Technologies, LLC (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates http://www.simple720.com (hereinafter referred to as “Service”).

Our Privacy Policy governs your visit to http://www.simple720.com, and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our Service.

  • We collect user feedback, community discussions, chats, and other interactions, such as surveys, at our sites.
  • Information to prepare your tax return or for other services.
  • Information we receive when providing technical or customer support for you.
  • Information you otherwise provide to us.
  • We collect information about your system as it interacts with us such as your IP address and browser information.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone for promotional or marketing purposes.

Information Use

As part of the tax filing process, the IRS requires Simple720 to request the person's e-mail address electronically filing a tax return and, if an email address is collected, provide it to the IRS. As a method for detecting fraud in connection with e-filing, the IRS requires Triesten Technologies LLC to provide the Internet Protocol information of the computer from which the return originated associated with that tax filing application.

User ID and Password Security

You are the only person authorized to use your user ID and password and for maintaining the confidentiality of your user ID and password. You shall not permit or allow other persons to have access to or use your user ID and password, except if you choose to provide that information to Triesten Technologies LLC, Inc's authorized technical support personnel to assist you. You are responsible for the use of the Software under your user ID. Simple 720 will not disclose your password if you lose or forget it. If you have not electronically filed or printed your tax return, you must create a user ID and password for you to access your tax data at a later date. You must remember your user ID and password to electronically transfer your tax return for the following year should you choose to use the Software again. Triesten Technologies LLC has the right to remove your information from the system after an excessive absence or lapse in the use of the Software.

Location Data

We may use and store information about your location if you give us permission to do so (“Location Data”). We use this data to provide features of our Service, to improve and customize our Service.

You can enable or disable location services when you use our Service at any time by way of your device settings.

Other Data

While using our Service, we may also collect the following information: sex, age, date of birth, place of birth, passport details, citizenship, registration at place of residence and actual address, telephone number (work, mobile), details of documents on education, qualification, professional training, employment agreements, information on bonuses and compensation, information on marital status, family members, social security (or other taxpayer identification) number, office location and other data.

Retention of Data

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Your Data Protection Rights under the California Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The law’s reach stretches well beyond California to require a person or company in the United States (and conceivable the world) that operates websites collecting personally identifiable information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals with whom it is being shared, and to comply with this policy.

According to CalOPPA we agree to the following:

  • 0.2 our Privacy Policy link includes the word “Privacy”, and can easily be found on the home page of our website;
  • 0.3 users will be notified of any privacy policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page;

Our Policy on “Do Not Track” Signals:

We honor Do Not Track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track browser mechanism is in place. Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. Payments

We may provide paid products and/or services within Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.
